Brian Finnegan

Brian Finnegan
Brian started playing bass at age 19 and joined his first band, Sudden Impact, a couple of months after he started to play. Since then, Brian has played for a variety of local cover band around Indianapolis and got to tour and open up for national acts such as Yngwie Malmsteen in the Summer of 1991 and Sass Jordan in the Summer of 1992. Altogether, he has been performing for over 30 years professionally. Brian brings a lot of talent and experience to the band.
 
Nicci Carney
Nicci's beautiful tone and pure joy for singing are evident in every performance. In addition to Common Ground, Nicci has been signing for most of her life, but has been signing in bands since 2010, and joined Common Ground in 2011.
 
Shawn Rollins
Shawn is a very diverse vocalist that began singing professionally in the 90s. In addition to her singing talent, she is also an accomplished flute and saxophone player that studied flute at Butler University and played sax in the IUPUI jazz band under the direction of Jack Gilfoy. She also plays some acoustic guitar as well-CG is blessed to have her.
 
Jeff Obranovich
Jeff is a life-long musician/vocalist who began studying guitar in 1973 at the age of 7 and performing live with his first band at the age of 15.  He studied classical guitar and piano in college, graduating with an interdisciplinary B.A. in Business, Music and Technology.  In addition to guitar, keyboards and vocals, he also plays bass, banjo and ukulele.

He spent most of the 1990s and early 2000s as a full-time musician, working at a music store, giving guitar lessons, performing in multiple bands, acoustically and hosting open mic nights at clubs around OH, WV, PA and MD before relocating to Indianapolis in 2004.  Post relocation, Jeff has played in several bands from Bloomington to Indianapolis.

In addition to his years in cover bands, Jeff has also written, published and received airplay for several original compositions, and was recently featured as a guest musician on two album releases from Pittsburgh area recording artist Robb McDonald.
